In addition to directing your team collectively, you should also motivate them individually. This is best done through recognition and positive reinforcement. Nothing is more motivating than knowing your efforts are not going unnoticed. As you learn these techniques, try to understand that the basis should be to reward for achievement, not punish for failure.
